Bird follows affable but unreliable father-of-two, Bug (Barry), who has fallen in love with a single mother, Peyton (Jasmine Jobson).
The resulting joining of families threatens to further disrupt an already erratic Northern Kent household.
Looking for an escape Bug’s daughter Bailey (Nykiya Adams) ventures out and meets an eccentric, troubled guy named Bird (Franz Rogowski) who asks her for help.
The Saltburn actor couldn’t stifle his laughter at one point and lifted up his stylish sunnies to cover his eyes.
He drew attention to his stunning blue eyes as he covered his nose and mouth with his hand.
Co-star Franz, 38, who plays the eponymous Bird, attempted to copy Barry’s hand-over-face pose, with limited success.
The actor then covered his mouth with the back of his hand in order to whisper to Bird producer Lee Groombridge in private.
Barry and Franz were joined by two more co-stars Nykiya Adams (Bailey, Bug’s daughter) and Jason Buda (Hunter, Bailey’s brother).
The group then posed with the film’s director Andrea Arnold who stood in the centre and crossed her arms.
Andrea OBE, 63, who has also worked on several episodes of Transparent and Big Little Lies.
