KATIE Price has confirmed she’s leaving her “mucky mansion” behind her as the bailiffs prepare to turf her out.

The £1.4million Horsham mansion has proven to be a major issue for the star in the years since she bought it, with the model struggling with the upkeep.

After years of fighting to save her home, Katie has announced she’s letting the bailiffs take it as she prepares to move out of the house dubbed Mucky Mansion for good.

At a live show of The Katie Price Podcast in London on Friday night, she told the audience: “No I am still in my mansion! And guess what? I absolutely have hated my mansion.

“I tell you why, nine years of hell I’ve had there. Fly-tipping, it’s haunted… and I am living with it. And whoever buys that house, good luck! I hate it.”

Problems with the house have been going on for years, with her pool going mouldy and the tennis courts getting overgrown.

At one point it became central to one of Katie’s reality shows as she desperately tried to renovate it once and for all.

She also claimed her five kids would wake up screaming after seeing ghosts walk around the property.

It was revealed last week that the 46-year-old has been told she must leave her home after being declared bankrupt.

She’s since listed a number of the furnishings on Facebook Marketplace in order to flog what she can before she leaves.

Katie was set to leave her home on May 29 after being served an eviction notice but she has now been given until June 26 to get out of the country pile.

The eviction comes after a woeful year for Katie which has seen her declared bankrupt for a second time.

Katie – once worth £45million – has an unpaid tax bill of more than £750,000.

The cash-strapped mum-of-five was first declared bankrupt in 2019 over unpaid debts of £3.2 million.

She was declared bankrupt for a second time in March over an unpaid tax bill of £761,994.05.

The demand for payment was made by HMRC last October.

She was due to give evidence about her finances at the High Court last month, but failed to turn up – holidaying in Cyprus with her new man JJ Slater instead.

The Sun has previously told how Katie plans to move to Wakefield, West Yorkshire.

Sources also revealed how she has been renting a £3,750-a-month house close to the Mucky Mansion after being served the eviction notice.
