Baldur’s Gate III Collector’s Edition Scalpers Called Out By Larian’s Michael Douse For ‘Making People Sad’ – PlayStation Universe

Baldur’s Gate III Collector’s Edition scalpers have been called out by Michael Douse, the director of publishing for Larian Studios, for “making [people] sad.”

Douse was responding to an image of a scaler attempting to sell their Baldur’s Gate III Collector’s Edition for the exorbitant price tag of £2,900.00. Here’s what he had to say on X:

Hate scalpers, man. I understand how commodity works, but this CE isn’t a commodity it’s designed to make someone happy, not rich. If you’re buying it to trade, all you’re doing is making someone sad.

The game has proven a huge success for Larian Studios, although despite this the company is moving away from the franchise and Dungeon & Dragons in general for its next project.
