Patch 8 for Baldur’s Gate 3 is set to be a huge one for the title, as it has some major features, like a fully customizable Photo Mode and 12 new subclasses for all the current classes within the game. Baldur’s Gate 3 Stress Test Date
- January 2025 for PC, PlayStation, or Xbox players
Players on Steam, Xbox, or PlayStation versions of Baldur’s Gate 3 can now sign up to take part in January’s test, which aims to find any possible issues or instability problems ahead of Patch 8’s launch. Larian is also hopeful that supported Baldur’s Gate 3 mods will remain free of issues, but is looking for feedback should anything happen during the test. It’s worth noting that not everyone will be admitted to the test, so registering does not guarantee access. Larian is planning to roll out invites in waves, and players can share their experience online as long as they indicate it is from the playtest version.

After the immense success of Baldur’s Gate 3, the announcement left many fans disappointed who were hoping to see expansions and other DLC content to keep the momentum going.
