The Great British Bake Off season 15, episode 7 spoilers follow.
The Great British Bake Off star Nelly Ghaffar has spoken about her exit from the show, saying it is “not the end.”
The palliative care assistant became the sixth baker to be eliminated from the 15th series of the Channel 4 show, with her stint coming to an end during Autumn Week.
As is customary with the show following the conclusion of an episode, the eliminated baker writes a note to their co-stars and fans of the show, with Nelly’s note being shared via X/Twitter.

“Waw,” she jokingly cried in the post. “What a rollercoaster it was? Did you enjoy it? Because I did!! Thank you for all [the] love and support. p.s. this is not [the] end, only [the] beginning. I will be back. Nelly xxx”
Nelly had some memorable moments before leaving the tent, including a hilarious mishap where Noel Fielding accidentally smashed her mixing bowl filled with caramel.
Tuesday’s Autumn Week episode saw Nelly struggle with her ‘Woman in Autumn’ cake as part of a Showstopper that challenged the bakers to make a unique Autumnal Festival Cake.

Sumayah was the week’s big winner as she received a ‘Hollywood handshake’ and was named Star Baker for her impressive ‘Autumn Leaves’ cake.
The six remaining bakers will each indulge their sweet tooth next week for three Dessert-themed challenges. Who is next to leave the tent?
The Great British Bake Off and its spin-off Bake Off: An Extra Slice both air on Channel 4 in the UK. In the US, it’s known as The Great British Baking Show, and streams on Netflix.
