Cameron Diaz and Jamie Foxx are back in the spy biz in Netflix’s Back In Action.
Per the logline: Years after giving up life as CIA spies to start a family, Emily (Diaz) and Matt (Foxx) find themselves dragged back into the world of espionage when their cover is blown.
Diaz’s Emily is clearly energized by the excitement. “For the first time in a really long time, I felt alive again. I felt like the bitch again,” she exclaims in the trailer. “Just like old times, baby. Just like old times,” says Foxx’s Matt.
Seth Gordon (Horrible Bosses) directs from a script he wrote with Brendan O’Brien. (Neighbors). Beau Bauman (Central Intelligence) produces for Good One Productions alongside Gordon for Exhibit A, with Jenno Topping, Peter Chernin andnd Sharla Sumpter Bridgett (Ford v Ferrari, Hidden Figures, Luther) for Chernin Entertainment. Foxx, Datari Turner, Brendan O’Brien, Tim Lewis executive produce.
Kyle Chandler,Andrew Scott, Jamie Demetriou, McKenna Roberts, Rylan Jackson and Glenn Close also star.
