Must read

Aubrey Plaza and Nathalie Emmanuel were visions of glamour as they attended the premiere of their star-studded new film, Megalopolis.

The duo were a sight to behold as they worked the red carpet alongside co-star Dustin Hoffman, 87, Giancarlo Esposito, 66, and their director, the legendary Francis Ford Coppola, 85.

The sci-fi film follows a conflict between brilliant artist Cesar Catilina (Adam Driver) and greedy mayor Franklyn Cicer (Giancarlo Esposito). Julia Cicer (Emmanuel) finds herself torn between them, her loyalty divided between her beloved and her father.

Aubrey, 40, wowed in a black lace number that displayed her legs paired with a black jacket and mesh-adorned cap.

Her brunette locks were styled down while she carried a glossy clutch.

Standing alongside Aubrey was Dustin Hoffman, who playfully pulled up the veil of her cap – garnering a surprised expression from the star.

Nathalie absolutely dazzled in a burgundy gown that displayed a hint of cleavage.

Hair beautifully slicked across her head, Nathalie also donned dazzling chandelier style earrings.

Chloe Fineman was also another style stand-out.

She wowed in a metallic, chainmail-esque dress with coordinating silver heels.

Blonde hair tumbled down in glossy waves while she finished off the look with a slick of red lipstick and earthy hue of eye shadow.

Oxman made headlines in 2018 after it was thought she was dating Brad Pitt – but she insisted they were not dating and clarified she was actually in a relationship with Ackman.

Coppola’s new film Megalopolis will be released on September 27.

The film has faced several controversies.

Coppola, in May earlier this year, was accused of attempting to ‘kiss topless and scantily clad female extras’ on the set of Megalopolis in a story by The Guardian.

The filmmaker was seen allegedly ‘trying to kiss young female extras’ in two brief videos published days later by Variety.

The Godfather director addressed the numerous allegations in a wide-ranging interview with Rolling Stone, where he claimed the original report from The Guardian was, ‘totally untrue.’

‘If you read that piece, you’ll realize that whoever the sources were — and I honestly don’t know who the sources were — it’s the same people who provided quotes for that Hollywood Reporter piece that said all these people were fired or resigned, and that there was a mass exodus, all of that,’ Coppola said.

‘And the truth of the matter is, they were looking for some sort of dirt. The young women I kissed on the cheek, in regards to the New Year’s scene, they were young women I knew,’ he insisted.

The director added, ‘It’s all so ridiculous. Look at the timing of that article. It’s right before we’re about to premiere the film at Cannes. They’re just trying to damage the picture.’

Coppola ultimately sued Variety, the publication that published the videos seemingly capturing him kissing women on the set, for libel.

Another controversy over the movie was based off of quotes from critics, leading Lionsgate to recall the trailer for the movie. The quotes, which included those from late critics such as Pauline Kael and Roger Ebert, did not appear in prior reviews of past films from the director.
