Must read

Arrow Electronics has partnered with distributor Equinix, aiming to reshape the digital infrastructure landscape across EMEA.

The partnership is hoping to shift how businesses approach network optimisation, hybrid multi-cloud adoption, and application performance enhancement.

Arrow’s network of channel partners will gain the ability to resell Equinix’s suite of services as part of integrated solutions.

This collaboration enables partners to offer and invoice Equinix services on a monthly recurring basis, providing flexibility and scalability to meet diverse client needs.

At the heart of this tie-up is the Equinix Platform, an ecosystem encompassing data centre co-location services, private connections to major public cloud providers, and an extensive network of over 260 International Business Exchange data centres worldwide.

By leveraging Equinix’s carrier-neutral IBX facilities, customers can optimise their WANs and accelerate digital transformation initiatives through low-latency, cost-effective network solutions.

Mike Worby, EMEA head of strategic alliances for Arrow’s enterprise computing solutions business, expressed enthusiasm about the collaboration: “We are excited to work with Equinix to provide our channel partners with unparalleled access to industry-leading digital infrastructure solutions.

“This collaboration will enable businesses across EMEA to accelerate their digital initiatives, optimize network performance, and achieve greater agility in their operations.”

Echoing this sentiment, Orla Ni Chorcora, vice president of EMEA channel sales at Equinix, highlighted the mutual benefits of the partnership.

“Arrow’s extensive reach and expertise is invaluable to help us expand our footprint in the EMEA region,” she said.

“Together, we can empower businesses with the digital infrastructure they need to rapidly scale globally, innovate continuously, and deliver world-class digital experiences.”

The distribution agreement covers a wide swath of the EMEA region, with Equinix solutions now available to channel partners in eleven countries: the UK, France, Netherlands, Germany, Switzerland, Spain, Finland, Italy, Poland, Portugal, and Sweden.

As digital transformation continues to be a top priority for businesses of all sizes, the two company hope their partnership will play a role in shaping the future of digital infrastructure in EMEA.
