One of the major points of the (never-ending) Wicked press tour is that Ariana Grande really, really wanted this. A lot. Like “would have canceled the Sweetener tour if necessary” levels. Well, it sure looks like she’s manifesting again. Following rumors that she would be playing Audrey Hepburn in an upcoming biopic, Grande has appeared on the red carpet for two events in a row in outfits that specifically recall Hepburn. On January 5, she showed up to the Golden Globes in Audrey gloves and Audrey jewels, wearing archival Givenchy — Hepburn’s closest collaborator. The previous day, at the Palm Springs International Film Awards, she wore what appears to be the same necklace and an outfit that garnered similar comparisons. Rooney Mara was confirmed to be starring in a Hepburn biopic in 2022, but there have since been reports that her version is no longer happening. We’re excited for it no matter the actress, but we will note that Ariana Grande wouldn’t have to be dubbed for My Fair Lady …
