Apple has published the details of its feverishly-anticipated Black Friday sale. The Californian brand regularly takes part in the blockbuster sales event …but never actually discounts its products.
Instead, you’ll receive a Gift Card up to a value of £160 with your new purchase. This Gift Card can be put towards other purchases in the Apple Store, including more gadgets and accessories, or digital purchases in the App Store, like paid-for apps and games, or songs and movies from iTunes.
Apple’s Black Friday sale is available online, in-store, and in the Apple Store app. The four-day event runs from November 29 to December 2, covering both Black Friday and Cyber Monday.
The small print? Apple isn’t including its latest-and-greatest iPhone 16 and iPhone 16 Pro models in the Black Friday promotion. Likewise, the new MacBook Pro, Mac mini, and iMac models announced last month are exempt too.
But if you’re looking for older hardware, this is the best time to upgrade. Aside from the Gift Card, buying direct from the Apple Store is the only way to get free engraving on eligible products. For example, you can customise AirPods, AirTags, iPad Air, Apple Pencil, and other gadgets with a name, emoji, or MeMoji at checkout.
Apple offers free next-day delivery on in-stock items, with standard delivery free across all products. Scheduled delivery is also available on some gadgets, or alternatively, you can arrange for products to be delivered to your nearest Apple Store.
