Apple is planning to launch a new product alongside the upcoming iPhone 16, an insider has revealed.
The technology giant is building up to its next big announcement, which has been set for September 9.
In the upcoming event it is expected that the business will launch the next smartphone at Apple Park in Cupertino, California.

This will be the iPhone 16, which will be produced alongside the usual variants of each new smartphone announced by Apple.
These typically include the standard version of it as well as the ‘pro’ version, with additional features, and a ‘pro max’ version which is physically larger and has more things crammed into it.
In the past the company also used to release a ‘mini’ version of its iPhone models, but this variant was dropped after the iPhone 13.
Not a great deal is known about the upcoming iPhone 16 at the moment, but it’s likely that it will expand on the features in current models, including Apple’s first forays into AI on its phones.
But the announcement also marks a milestone for another popular Apple product.

This is the Apple Watch, which was first launched back in 2014 and has had several updates since then.
At the time Apple CEO Tim Cook called the Apple Watch ‘the most personal device we’ve ever created’, saying: “We’ve set up to make the best watch in the world – one that is precise.”
Now the watches can track all manner of things including heart rate, your sleep, and your menstrual cycle.
One insider has suggested that Apple is planning to unveil the tenth model of its Apple Watch in September to mark the product’s tenth anniversary.

Mark Gurman is a tipster who predicts new releases from the tech giant, and in his weekly newsletter: “Apple Watch is nearing its 10th birthday and the company has a chance to mark the occasion.
“With the X model, Apple designers are working on a thinner watch case and have explored changing the way bands are attached to the device.”
He added that it’s likely that Apple will have looked into ‘other enhancements under the hood’ to offer new features in the Apple Watch.
Gurman suggested that this ‘could lay the groundwork for some AI enhancements down the road’, reminding readers that these are currently ‘only headed to the iPhone, iPad and Mac’.
But as for more details about the latest releases – you’ll just have to wait until September!
