Sophie, 45, looked in cheerful spirits at Worthy Farm, the day after she had made a surprise appearance during Peggy Gou’s set.
Appearing at Glastonbury’s new ‘femme-queer’ space, Scissors, the singer discussed her music and the importance of the LGBTQ+ community.
Sophie has seen a recent resurgence in popularity since her 2001 hit song Murder On The Dancefloor was used in the infamous ending scene of Saltburn last year.
Speaking about the song’s revival in the Q&A, she credited Glastonbury as being ‘part of what’s happened’ in causing the track’s rising popularity.
Sophie said: ‘I was lucky enough to perform on the Pyramid, actually at about this time last year. Oh my god, I was in such a good mood.
‘It was like all my birthdays are come at once and when I say murder at the end, and people were letting off their flares, and I was like this is magical.
‘And I do believe that even though obviously Saltburn and everything that happened with having that amazing scene in the movie has been the sort of tipping point.
‘There were little bubbles that were happening with that song over the course of last year, actually … other … festivals … so I think it’s all contributed actually.’

She added: ‘But … murder is like a really good friend of mine and we’ve been having adventures over the years and now we’ve just gone away on like this amazing unexpected trip together and it’s wild but it’s so much fun, and I’ve just been trying to enjoy it without any expectation outside of enjoying it.
‘You know what I mean? Because it’s a very unusual thing to have a song like that come back and have this moment this year, and I just want to enjoy what this is about.
‘And I’m also I suppose I’m trying to challenge how long I can dine out on one song as well.’
The final day of the famous festival will see fans treated to a headline performance from award-winning artist SZA.

Speaking to Radio Times, the Man! I Feel Like A Woman! hitmaker said: ‘It’s an invite that feels like a once-in-a-lifetime thing. I was on the edge of my seat until it became a reality.’
She added: ‘I’m excited but nervous. I’m going as a fan, too: I want to cheer on my fellow Canadian Avril Lavigne, and I’ve never seen Cyndi Lauper or Coldplay live.’
