I’m A Celebrity… Get Me Out Of Here viewers seemed to pick up that host Ant McPartlin’s demeanour towards Dean McCullough was a bit frostyas he participated in the latest Bushtucker Trial.

The radio presenter has taken part in a few of the grizzly trials this year and has called out the infamous words to put an end to the challenge on a couple of occasions.

During Thursday’s show, Mcpartlin failed to hide his annoyance at McCullough, 32, as he panicked during his latest trial.

In an interview after the show, the 49-year-old admitted he had been “unprofessional” and said he’d make an effort to be “kinder” to McCullough during Friday’s trial, which he’s set to take on alongside Danny Jones.

It comes after viewers noted the presenter seemed to “dislike” the I’m A Celebrity campmate, and McCullough himself stated he felt he was being “told off”.

During a conversation on the ITV2 spin-off show, I’m A Celebrity: Unpacked, host Sam Thompson didn’t hesitate in raising the observations with Ant and Dec.

“Oh god. I told you not to talk to me about it Sam,” McPartlin replied.

“My annoyance came across on screen and it was quite unprofessional and I’m not happy about it,” he confessed.

Donnelly quipped: “I think you hid it quite well, Ant.”

McPartlin went on to label his behaviour as “unprofessional,” pledging to be “kinder” to McCullough.

However, he also attempted to explain his anger over the trial mishap, commenting: “You just get to the point where you think what are you doing?” The Mirror reports.

McPartlin will have the chance to live up to his word during Friday’s show when the radio presenter once again heads to the Bushtucker Trial area after being voted yet again by the public.

McPartlin’s irritation towards the campmate didn’t go unnoticed by viewers, with many taking to X to point it out on Thursday.

One penned: “Dying at how obvious it is that ant cannot stand dean #imaceleb.”

“Dec holding Ant back from Dean #ImACeleb,” another joked.

Someone else warned “If y’all vote for Dean one more time I think Ant’s gonna quit the job #ImACeleb.”

“Not Ant telling off Dean for doing s**** in the last 2 trials #ImACeleb #imacelebrity.”

“I feel like Ant is annoyed at Dean cos of all the effort that goes into creating a trial but gets wasted cos he can’t complete it, hope they reuse some later in the show #imaceleb,” another commented.

“Ant really doesn’t like Dean #ImACeleb,” someone else noted. (sic)

During the trial, McCullough managed to get through the first few parts, which saw him sticking his head into a box full of jungle critters.

McCullough begged the hosts not to inform him what had been inside, and managed to get a few stars. However, he called “I’m a celebrity, get me out of here,” after he felt fish guts landing on his neck.

McPartlin didn’t hold back as he complained that if he’d been allowed to inform him what had been inside, he’d have continued with the trial.
