The developer of a new search facility powered by Artificial Intelligence is looking for agents to test the system, which he says will ‘transform’ the way people look for holidays.
Ian Champness has set up the Go There Travel AI Travel Assistant search widget, which he says will generate better leads, harnessing the power and speed of Open AI’s ChatGPT.
Agents can integrate the AI Travel Assistant, project named Astra, into their own website or Facebook.
“We believe integrating this AI search will enhance an agent’s visitors experience in their own website and deliver much better qualified leads to the agent,” Ian said.
“With our AI search the visitor can ask Astra for suggestions on any country, place, resort or experience, anywhere in the world. The results can then be viewed by the agent to respond to.”
Ian, former Marketing Director at systems supplier FSS, is looking for 50 agents to test the prototype for free. He said: “Our prototype is developed. We are looking for agents to test it and give us feedback for our customised version.”
Go There Travel has taken on former Vertical Systems Managing Director and current The Big Golf Company CEO as a Non-Executive Director.
Ian said: “I am delighted that Chris has accepted my invitation to join the company as a non-exec. His success in working with the agent sector and his contacts in the trade will be a great asset in helping us grow our startup quickly. Chris is a great AI enthusiast and believes the launching of our AI Travel Assistant is exactly the right time for agents to adopt this game-changing technology.”
Chris said: “I see the Go There AI widget making life easier for travel agents by handling initial customer interactions and understanding their holiday needs.
“They will get higher quality leads, more sales, and better conversion rates. No more dealing with unrealistic enquiries – the search widget filters those out, so agents can focus on prospect clients who are see the value of an agent’s advice and are closer to booking a holiday. I am excited to be onboard and this search widget could transform holiday search for agents and the consumer.”
