Must read

International law firm Addleshaw Goddard has continued the growth of its Infrastructure and Energy team with the recruitment of experienced Partner Euan Wilson from Dentons.

Wilson, who will be based in Edinburgh, will work closely with the firm’s wider Infrastructure and Energy team with a particular focus on infrastructure asset management and the expiry and handback of PFI projects across the UK, as well advising Central Government and the wider public sector on a range of infrastructure matters.

The appointment continues the expansion of Addleshaw Goddard’s Infrastructure and Energy team internationally, with recent recruits including a seven-strong energy team in Germany and project finance specialist Bruce Chen in London. Wilson’s former Dentons colleagues in Scotland, Stewart Maciver, David Cruickshank and Andrew Orr, also joined the firm’s IPE practice in 2023.

Richard Goodfellow, Addleshaw Goddard’s head of Infrastructure and Energy, added: “Euan is a vastly experienced, highly regarded partner and his practice, along with those of our other recent recruits, covers a broad range of projects work including infrastructure asset management, UK Government/MOD/Crown Commercial Services appointments, healthcare, PFI/PPP and Energy. We know he will be a great fit at Addleshaw Goddard and will provide increased bench strength in key UK and European markets. He will play an important role in advancing our practice, particularly in the social infrastructure space.”

Euan Wilson said: “Having worked opposite from the team at Addleshaw Goddard for many years, especially in relation to infrastructure asset management, I know the quality of the practice that I am joining, and I’m delighted to be part of its ambition to be a dominant player in the market. The ability to work with a first-class team, with an enviable roster of clients and a clear strategy for growth across the UK and internationally is refreshing and I look forward to contributing to the firm’s continuing success.”
