The roles will help drive some of the group’s most important technology projects including new customer features on digital channels, protecting customers against fraud, and advanced data analytics.
Bank of Ireland, which is headquartered in Dublin, has today (1 July) announced the creation of 100 new jobs in the technology space. The company is aiming to bolster areas such as cloud, open banking, API’s, AI and emerging technologies.
Professionals in data, delivery management, engineering, recruiting talent and resilience and cyber, are required to support digital projects across the group, particularly in the areas of customer features on digital channels, fraud protection and advanced data analytics.
Earlier this year Bank of Ireland announced mass upgrades to ATMs across Ireland, which involved the largest investment in its cash machines in more than a decade and is projected to be completed in 2027. There was also a €15m expenditure on technology to prevent fraud, and in April the business revealed a €34m investment in its customer services, that included biometric voice technology and enhanced self-service capabilities.
The group chief operating officer of Bank of Ireland, Ciarán Coyle reaffirmed the platform’s commitment to continued investment in talent, technology and infrastructure.
“We’re currently progressing a range of innovative digital projects across the group and we want to recruit talented specialists who can enhance the banking experience for our customers,” said Coyle.
