Travelodge, the hotel giant, has launched a recruitment drive, aiming to fill over 300 roles within its extensive network.
With more than 600 establishments spread across the UK, Ireland, and Spain, and a workforce of around 13,000, the company is on the lookout for both full-time and part-time staff. The available positions range from hotel managers to bar staff, cleaners, receptionists, and even head office jobs in sales and customer service.
Katharine Gourley, Travelodge’s director of people operations, commented: “We are looking for enthusiastic people that have a passion and determination to deliver excellent customer service.”
Travelodge had record earnings last year, but sales slowed down a bit at the start of 2024. The company made a profit in 2023, with earnings growing by 14.6% to ÂŁ243.9million. Meanwhile, the company’s revenues soared by 13.7% to ÂŁ1.04billion for the year.
Before summer the company were anticipating strong customer demand and bookings, boosted by big concerts including the Taylor Swift UK tour and events like Wimbledon,. which begins today, contributing to revenues in London.
