Additionally, citizens from Japan, South Korea, Russia, Switzerland, and Luxembourg can enjoy visa-free entry for up to 15 days. The tourism and travel contributions to GDP for 2022 and 2023 have not yet been calculated. However, over 1.67 million tourists visited Laos from January to June 2023, compared to only one million tourists from January to September 2022.
