Claims ‘Hawk Tuah’ girl has been sacked from day job have been debunked

Must read

The overnight internet celebrity ‘Hawk Tuah’ girl has amassed viral status after a hilarious video of her giving relationship advice sent viewers crazy.

But after reports noted that as a consequence, she’d be fired from her position as a teacher, we all ask the question: Was it true?

Now, people have always done crazy things outside of working hours and haven’t been punish so why is she different?

Who is the Hawk Tuah girl?

US woman Hailey Welch was recently interviewed on the street by social media interviewer TimandDeeTV, where she mimicked spitting on a man’s ‘parts’ when asked ‘what move in bed makes a man go crazy’.

Now, fans of the viral TikTok video were pleased with her advice and men (for obvious reasons) started a fan club for her.

But apparently, the safety of her job was something she lost when she reached stardom.

Not even her merchandise could save her from being fired… Except, it didn’t actually happen.

Rumours of her being fired

Initially, the reports that Welch had been fired from her teaching job came on 21 June from a Facebook page called Tippah County Tribune, which claimed to have a statement from both Welch and Welch’s former employer.

The statement from Epstein Day School Director Carla Reed allegedly read: “We have kids spitting on each other and everything else since they heard their beloved Miss Hailey say ‘spit on that thang’ on YouTube.

“They really look up to her as a role model and imitate the things that she does.

“We love Hailey but unfortunately we cannot allow this type of behavior from one of our very own faculty members.”

It was then alleged by the Facebook page that Welch replied: “I love those kids and they mean the world to me. It is not fair that I am forced to resign from my job because of a matter that occurred during my own personal free time away from school.

“What I said during that interview was based on my own personal thoughts. I was giving good advice to those who might want to have a little fun.

“I have the right to share my life experiences if I choose to do so.

“It has nothing to do with the kind of teacher I am for my kids. It is outright discrimination and I plan to seek retribution against the preschool.”

Mmm… but those interviews never happened, and it can’t be confirmed that Welch was, in fact, a member of staff.

It turns out the page in question which has been giving updates on Welch and her consequences, is a satirical page.

It even calls itself ‘Tippah County’s #1 Publication For Satirical Laughs’, and is a parody account.

So, even though thousands of people have believed that she lost her job… she hasn’t.

In fact, the now turned ‘digital creator’ seems to be doing well and is selling merchandise to cash in on her newfound fame with embroidered hats and t-shirts with her saying: Hawk Tuah 2024.

But there are a band of excitable men trying to find her in real life… so maybe job security isn’t the real consequence?
