Emmerdale Tom finally ‘rumbled’ as villager ‘connects the dots’ in Belle twist

Must read

Emmerdale fans have been left speculating Charity Dingle will be the person to stop Tom King’s abuse towards his wife Belle after a huge revealation.

During Thursday’s visit to the ITV soap (June 27), Tom’s evil abuse took another sinister turn after he returned home from the hospital following his accident that nearly killed him.

He was rushed to hospital, due to striking rotatory isolator with a metal pipe at the barn. Tom had exploded in a fit of rage after finding out Belle had secretly had an abortion instead of a miscarriage, and lashed out while in the barn at Butler’s farm.

He suffered a high voltage electric shock and was declared dead after his heart stopped for a minute. But after Tom was rushed to hospital he made a swift recovery and discharged himself from hosiptal.

When he arrived home, Tom wasted no time in tormenting Belle and pretended he didn’t know about the abortion.

Meanwhile, Charity popped by to check on the couple while Belle looked horrified to see her husband back as her suitcase was still backed near the front door after she planned to flee.

“I was worried for a moment there Tom”, she announces as Tom sarcastically replied: “Not as worried as Belle, she thought she was going to have to arrange my funeral.”

In an awkward moment, Tom laughs at his incident before Charity questions Tom on the barn being smashed up. Changing the suspect, Tom tries to encourage Charity to leave and states: “We just want to be alone.”

Charity persists to question the villian on why he still isn’t in hospital after nearly dying before he changes the subject by announcing Belle’s miscarriage.

She reacts with shock and tries to offer Belle some words of comfort but it all becomes to much for the abused wife who walks away from their conversation. This sparks suspicion in Charity who realises there’s something going on between Tom and Belle as he asks her to leave their home.

Emmerdale viewers have been left hoping Charity will realise Tom’s abuse and save Belle.

Taking to X, (formely known as Twitter), @unsworth1live wrote: “#Emmerdale Charity has lived the life Belle is going through so I think she’ll notice something is wrong long before anyone else.”
