Casualty star Charles Venn, 51, puts on a cosy display with EastEnders’ Danielle Harold, 32, as they head to the TRIC Awards

Casualty star Charles Venn was spotted in the midst of a cosy display with EastEnders actress Danielle Harold as they headed to the TRIC Awards on Tuesday.

The actor, 51, was pictured with an arm around the former soap star as they arrived for the star-studded event at London’s Grosvenor House Hotel.

Danielle showed off her incredible figure in a tight olive green midi dress and chunky heeled peeptoe boots as she made her entrance for the red carpet.

The beaming star was seen cosying up to Charles, who showed off his snazzy sense of style in a smart all-black suit.

Charles has starred as Jacob Masters on Casualty since 2015, while Danielle bid farewell to EastEnders in 2023, after her character Lola Pearce lost her battle with a terminal brain tumour.

While competing on Strictly Come Dancing in 2018, Charles confirmed that he was a ‘happily married man,’ after being questionined about his chemistry with dance partner Karen Hauer.

He told The Sun at the time: ‘I am a very happily married man. I’ve been married a few years now.

‘I find the whole Strictly curse is quite funny. I am not really a believer of the hocus pocus, its nonsense.’

He added: ‘Me and my wife right now are very happy. She’s looking forward to it; she’s been going through dances with me.’

In October 2022, Danielle also spared romance rumours with her EastEnders co-star Bobby Brazier, after they were pictured in a cosy display at the National Television Awards.

The Strictly Come Dancing star arrived with his co-star Danielle as they partied the night away – with the young actor planting a kiss on her head as they giggled and headed inside. 

Walking inside with Danielle, who plays Lola Pearce in the soap, the pair wrapped their arms around one another as Bobby jokingly held onto her face. He was also spotted giving a mystery brunette a smooch on the dance floor.

A party-goer told The Sun: ‘Bobby was living his best life at the NTAs and was really going for it.’

They continued that he was ‘close’ with Danielle as they arrived, describing the actor as a ‘real gent’ to the star. 

‘Danielle ended up going home after the ceremony ended and Bobby moved to the after party where he caught the eye of a brunette woman. 

‘They started snogging on the dancefloor in front of everyone – he didn’t care who could see him,’ explained the source.

Danielle later brushed off the romance rumours, insisting that ‘sweet’ Bobby had simply helped her after she struggled to walk in her high heels.
