How Target Australia is taking on Big W with a bold new shopping move

Target Australia is taking on Big W’s famous toy sale with one of its own – offering 20 per cent off big name products including Lego, Barbie, Hot Wheels, Play-Doh, Nintendo and more.

Shoppers across the country will have the opportunity to shop the Big Brand Toy Sale from this Thursday.

The epic sale will run for three weeks until Wednesday, July 17 and products are expected to fly off shelves as parents stock up for birthdays and Christmas.

OnePass members have exclusive early access to special deals from Monday, June 24 until Wednesday, June 26.

Popular options include the Barbie Dreamhouse Pool Party Doll House down from $249 to $185, along with the $9 LEGO Creator Red Dragon and $99 Little Tikes Cozy Coupe. 

Gamers can rejoice at the $90 discount they will receive if purchasing the new Nintendo Switch OLED Model Console, bringing it down to $449 instead of $539. 

Customers can save $125 on the new PlayStation 5 Disc Console Slim Edition, which has been reduced from $799 to $674.

Bluey and Barbie fans will be happy as there’s an abundance of toys of varying prices for sale too.

There’s an array of Lego favourites to choose from including $4 mini figures, $21.60 Disney Classic Simba the Lion King Cub and $21.60 DUPLO Disney Mack at the Race.

Those above the age of 10 may wish to start or expand their collection with a range of larger Lego sets, such as the $125 Star Wars R2-D2 or $71.20 Orchids. 

Similarly Barbie fans will be thrilled to know the popular Barbie Dreamhouse is on sale for $185 down from $249 – a saving of $64. 

Parents with young children can score a bargain on Fisher Price and Paw Patrol buys.
