‘This expanded presence in New York allows us to better serve our clients’

Granite Digital, which was founded in 2008 by four friends in Skibbereen, Co Cork, provides digital marketing services for its client base of over 1,200 organisations.

Current customers include Fortune 500 companies and tech giants, such as Google Cloud.

Other clients include Intel, Red Bull, Pepsi, Medtronic and Audi.

The Cork-headquartered firm has delivered over 1,000 website projects to date. Granite Digital also has offices in Dublin and Galway.

“Our global clients are asking us to expand our presence into the US,” co-founder and chief commercial officer Robert Carpenter said.

“This expanded presence in New York allows us to better serve our clients and expand our offerings, enabling US-based and global businesses to leverage the best European digital marketing, security, and compliance standards,” he added.

Granite has also made a number of new appointments as it builds up its presence in the US.

This includes Margaret Molloy, founder of Molloy Marketing Advisory, who will act as an adviser to the board. She previously led global marketing at branding agency Siegel+Gale in New York.

The digital agency has also appointed Oran Bambrick as a VP of operations in the US.

Mr Bambrick is currently director of Bigwave Consulting in the city and previously worked with Enterprise Ireland.

In May, Granite Digital acquired Dublin-based digital design agency Wondr in a move that added over 30 blue-chip clients to its client list.

Following this latest acquisition, Granite Digital expects revenues to grow to more than €16m this year.

The number of digital specialists at the group also rose to 140 following the deal.
