Bitter Audience Boo as Farage Wins Best Presenter of the Year
Nigel Farage has just won News Presenter of the Year at the TRIC Awards for a second year in a row, beating the likes of Eamonn Holmes, Susanna Reid, and Matt Chorley. Commiserations to Chorley, who didn’t take the news too well, posting on X: “ffs”. Like last year, Farage was hit with boos and jeers from the woke elite crowd. Nigel responded in his usual fashion:
“Thank you! It’s a bit like a wrestling event isn’t it! Those that boo clearly don’t get what a competition is.”
Another fine example of the gulf between the Twitterati and everyone else. Farage won the public vote, yet the people sipping champagne in the room as he received the award couldn’t stand it. The same reaction will no doubt be replicated if Nigel does win in Clacton next week. Nigel noted that GB News “is here to stay”, and considering GBN snagged a triple win this year with GB News Breakfast and Camilla Tominey winning best interview, he might be right. Congratulations Nigel…
