In addition to visiting key Spoons locations, guests will also have the chance to participate in the iconic Wetherspoons game, where patrons post a picture of their table number and location on social media in hopes of receiving free drinks.
Among the highlights are The Winter Gardens in Harrogate, one of the country’s most picturesque Spoons’ venues, The Rochester Castle in Hackney, the oldest surviving Spoons’ venue, and George’s Meeting House in Exeter, which holds the distinction of being Tim Martin’s favourite Spoons’ venue.
The southern leg of the tour includes breakfast at the oldest surviving Wetherspoons venue, a day at the Tower of London, punting along the River Cam, a visit to Britain’s ‘poshest Spoons’, Canterbury Cathedral, and the Jurassic Coast World Heritage Site.
The northern tour boasts visits to Wordsworth House and Garden, the renowned “Velvet Coaster” – one of the UK’s largest pubs, Manchester’s Northern Quarter and Nidderdale National Landscape.
A representative from MyUkTour stated: “Combining hearty pub grub and craft ales with historical monuments and stunning landscapes, this tour is sure to showcase the very best that Britain has to offer.”
