2024 F1 championship standings after Spanish Grand Prix

Must read

Max Verstappen further increased his grip on the Formula 1 Drivers’ standings with a seventh win of the season in the Spanish Grand Prix.

Already boasting a 56-point lead over Charles Leclerc, 25 points for the win coupled with just 10 for Leclerc’s fifth-place finish means P2 finisher Lando Norris moves into second place in the standings.

Norris banked 18 points plus the extra fastest lap bonus point as Sergio Perez could only finish ninth.

Mercedes once again took a three-four finish as Lewis Hamilton banked a first grand prix podium finish of the season ahead of George Russell.

It does not move Mercedes up from fourth in the table with Ferrari still second behind Red Bull.
