The End We Start From sees Jodie Comer deliver another excellent performance, and if you missed it at the cinema, now’s your chance to catch up.
Based on the book of the same name by Megan Hunter, the survival drama stars Comer as a woman who tries to find her way home with her newborn baby after London is submerged by flood waters.
The End We Start From was released on digital platforms in March, and it is now available to watch on Netflix in the UK and Ireland after it was added to the streaming service today (June 19).

Directed by Mahalia Belo, the movie also stars Joel Fry, Katherine Waterston, Benedict Cumberbatch, Gina McKee and Mark Strong.
Talking to Digital Spy ahead of the movie’s cinema release in January, Comer explained that her character’s motherhood proved the biggest challenge, wanting to get it “truthful”.
“We wanted to be thorough with that depiction. When I think about the physicality of being pregnant. I myself, I’m not a mother, so there are many instincts and knowledge that I didn’t have, so it was about making sure that I kind of dealt with that,” she noted.
“So there are things like that felt like a challenge, and also the sense of being in every scene with a newborn. The babies are from eight weeks old to eight months. That responsibility of not having been around babies an awful lot, and learning how to hold them, how to take care of them.”
Comer will next be seen on the big-screen in The Bikeriders, which is released in cinemas this Friday (June 21), and is currently filming the much-anticipated 28 Years Later.
She revealed last week that she has been watching videos of Cheryl on The X Factor to hone her character’s Geordie accent for the new movie.
The End We Start From is available to watch now on Netflix in the UK and Ireland.
