Katie Price‘s new neighbours have reportedly threatened to ‘sell their house’ after discovering the ‘dreadful’ news she’s moving to the ‘quiet area’.
The former glamour model, 46, is forking out almost £5,000 per month for her new property after being forced to leave the Mucky Mansion amid double bankruptcy woes.
And one of her new neighbours is ‘really not happy’ about it, according to The Sun.
A woman, who asked not to be identified, said: ‘One of my neighbours was on the phone to me as soon as they heard saying, “Have you heard the dreadful news?”
‘The reaction from most of the neighbours has not been very positive.’
She added: ‘There’s nothing we can do about it other than put our house up for sale but that is a bit drastic’

Katie was told she had to leave her Mucky Mansion after being declared bankrupt.
She was due to leave on May 29 following an eviction notice, but has been given until June 26 to move out.
Locals have warned Price ‘not to throw any wild parties’. They said they hope she will ‘keep herself to herself’ when she moves into her new home.
One new neighbour, who asked not to be named, said: ‘She’s a bit older now, so maybe she’s calmed down a bit? As long as there are no wild parties going on into the night, we’re ok with it.’
Another neighbour who did not want to be named said: ‘As long as she keeps herself to herself, I’m fine with it.’
Katie’s huge new family home, which includes a double garage and open-plan kitchen, will be Katie and her five children’s new house.
However, after checking out her new property, confused fans queried how she has been able to afford the £4,995 monthly payment amid her financial issues.
They asked: ‘Double bankrupt. Where did the money come from?’; ‘For someone who is bankrupt how can she afford it?’; ‘How can she afford that property if she’s bankrupt!’

Katie Price revealed that she was forced to call the police after a ‘transit van of eight people’ were spotted in the grounds of her Mucky Mansion on Monday
It comes after Katie shared pictures of two men she feared were trying to break into her £2million Mucky Mansion – just days after she was forced to call police over another gang of strangers outside her home.
Katie posted alarming doorbell footage on Instagram of an intruder approaching the front door before walking away.
She followed it up with a picture of him and a second man as well as a photo of a white Ford they had parked on her driveway.
The double bankrupt mother-of-five, who is being forced to leave the nine-bed mansion due to an eviction order, wrote: ‘Anybody know who this is? Attempting to break into my house.’
Sussex Police told MailOnline it had received a report of ‘suspicious behavior involving a possible break-in’ at around 9pm. The two men were searched and given ‘words of advice’ before being released after no items were found, police said.
It is the latest incident to take place at the Mucky Mansion, which became the subject of a Channel 4 documentary when she attempted to install life back into the property for the last time.
Price, who’s a mother to Harvey Price, 21, as well as Junior, 18, and Princess, 16, who she shares with Peter Andre and Jett, 10, and Bunny, nine, from her relationship with Kieran Hayler, said at the time: ‘Due to acid attack on my car at my house I’ve now been advised by authorities not to stay at Mucky Mansion anymore.’
She revealed how someone had snuck into her property in the middle of the night and splashed a corrosive substance over the Range Rover which had some of its pink paint stripped off.
Taking to her Instagram Stories Katie shared a snap of a police car claiming coppers had come to protect her property from the intruders and has set up a 24 hour guard
And last month, the twice bankrupt reality star revealed she’d been advised to leave the home after vandals threw acid on her Range Rover, and she has since increased security while appearing at her live shows
Katie had shared snaps and videos of damage to her car the following day, and in a statement the police urged any witnesses to come forward.
‘Scumbags outside my house on my private property, I can’t wait to get out this house in a few months time,’ she wrote over a video of the acid damage.
She added: ‘It’s nice to know someone in the night has come to throw acid all over my car. Everywhere, all on my car.
‘Thank you, whoever that was.’
Then yesterday, she revealed that police had been called after a van parked up at the mansion. She posted footage of police officers descending on the scene.
In the caption she wrote: ‘Rushed to my home after being informed of a white transit van with eight people not from this area waiting in my grounds.
‘A thanks to Sussex police who were instantly there and who are guarding the property.
‘After the recent acid attack at the mansion all breaches of security are taken seriously by all now.
‘There is 24 hour security now at the property for protection.’
During a live show of The Katie Price Podcast in London on Friday, she said she couldn’t wait to leave the mansion.
‘I absolutely have hated my mansion,’ she told the audience.
‘I tell you why, nine years of hell I’ve had there. Fly-tipping, it’s haunted… and I am living with it. And whoever buys that house, good luck! I hate it.’
Price was first declared bankrupt in 2019. In March, she became bankrupt for a second time after she failed to pay her taxes, saying the reason she has debts is because she went through a ‘breakdown.’
Earlier this month it was revealed the former glamour model had reportedly been informed by lawyers she would have to move out of the property in in Dial Post, West Sussex, by May 29, after two eviction notices appeared outside her home
Speaking on the Stripping Off podcast with Matt Haycox, Katie said she wasn’t even aware of the second bankruptcy, insisting, ‘I will pay it, but it just has to be when I’ve got it.’
She said: ‘Yeah, you should always pay your tax, this and that. But obviously, I went through a breakdown so then I didn’t pay tax and that’s sort of where the bankruptcy thing has come from.’
Regarding the latest incident at the Mucky Mansion, a spokesman for Sussex Police told MailOnline: ‘Police received a report of suspicious behaviour involving a possible break-in at 9pm on June 4 at an address in Dial Post, near Horsham.
‘Officers attended the scene and two men were searched. No items were found. The men were given words of advice and released.
‘Officers have made contact with the property owner and kept them informed of the incident.
‘Any suspicious activity can be reported to Sussex Police on 101 or online, in an emergency call 999.’
MailOnline has contacted Katie Price for comment.
