From her beginnings on Disney, to her solo singing career, Sabrina Carpenter has established herself as 2024’s It girl. She can sing, she can dance, and – most crucially – she can dress really well. With each red carpet appearance and Instagram post, fans are left swooning over her impeccable style.
Often referred to as the ‘real-life Polly Pocket‘ due to her five foot frame, Carpenter is giving petite girls all the inspiration they need, proving that petite fashion can be great – you just have to know where to look. Carpenter’s go-to uniform consists of preppy cropped shirts, mini skirts and mini dresses but she still knows how to pull off a maxi gown when necessary – just take her custom Oscar de la Renta Met Gala look as the prime example.

A lover of matching gloves, statement necklaces and knee-high socks, Carpenter’s accessories have also captured the attention of millions. TikTok users have even dubbed her go-to Naked Wolfe platform boots as the ‘Sabrina Carpenter shoes’, wearing them at practically every show because of how comfortable they are, and at 13cm tall, they can add a little bit of height which is every petite girls’ dream.

The Chunky Boots, June 16th 2024
This weekend Carpenter performed at the Capital Summertime Ball at Wembley Arena wearing a chainmail dress from Versace. This form-fitting dress features a striking harlequin pattern in yellow and silver and ruched detailing on one side. Although the dress did most of the talking, the boots made quite the statement too by adding a playful, modern twist to the look with its chunky sole.

If you’re looking for a chunky boot that’s going to make a statement, these ones from Naked Wolfe are Sabrina-approved and dancing-approved as she took the stage for her set (and didn’t fall over, which is always a bonus). Carpenter’s white boots are out of stock, but they’re still available in black.
The Preppy Look From Please Please Please Music Video, June 6th 2024
The Please Please Please music video was iconic for many reasons, but mainly for the outfits. Carpenter stars in the video alongside beau (and Saltburn actor) Barry Keoghan, who plays her convict lover. In one scene she’s spotted in a cropped white shirt that’s a staple in any capsule wardrobe, paired with an Alexander Wang skort layered over pink boxer shorts.

The Frankie Shop is great for basics, as proven by Carpenter herself as she sports this exact cropped shirt from the much-loved brand.
Sports shorts and boxer shorts are all people are wearing right now so it’s no surprise to see Carpenter getting in on the trend. To style her boxer shorts she’s opted to layer them underneath an Alexander Wang skort, which we love.
Mini is again a massive trend at the moment, with everything from mini skirts, to micro shorts and mini dresses having a resurgence.
The Yellow Dress, June 4th 2024
In an announcement of her new album Short n’ Sweet on August 23rd 2024, Carpenter released images of herself wearing a vibrant yellow top, that the popstar has actually styled as a dress. We’re obsessed.

At exactly five feet tall, Carpenter is petite enough to get away with wearing this exact Emilia Wickstead top, as a dress.
The Orange Mini, May 26th 2024
Carpenter chose to perform in Luton at BBC Radio 1’s Big Weekend in an orange mini dress, originally from the archive of designer Roberto Cavalli.

Carpenter’s actual dress isn’t available to buy, so this REVOLVE mini is a great alternative as it features some of the same detailing, such as the plunge neckline and bright orange colour.
The Navy Polo, May 18th 2024
A lover of the preppy look, Carpenter arrives at Saturday Night Live in New York dressed in a sporty ensemble that includes a navy polo shirt and a white mini skirt by Miu Miu. She accessorises the look with black platform heels and white socks, leaning even more so into the playfulness of this outfit.

Carpenter’s exact Miu Miu Polo shirt is out of stock, so we’re turning to the brand famous for its polo shirts – Ralph Lauren. The colour ‘Newport Navy’ is the closest match, and features the iconic red Polo logo.
If you prefer a one piece to a two piece, Miu Miu has a dress that incorporates all the elements of Carpenter’s preppy look. With a tie skirt and a polo top, you can easily recreate her outfit by adding a pair of glasses, white socks and platform heels.
The Birthday Dress, May 11th 2024
Carpenter’s birthday dress was all but responsible for cementing butter yellow as the colour of the season. Inspired by Kate Hudson’s iconic dress in How To Lose A Guy in Ten Days, Carpenter’s original dress is from Depop, but we’ve found similar alternatives below.

Reformation’s Belva dress in pale yellow is the closest high street match, with extra lace detailing and 100% silk construction.
The White Dress, April 12th 2024
In the music video for the hit single Espresso, Carpenter wore a stunning white off the shoulder mini dress. Featuring vintage details like lace, a corset waist and smocked back, this dress is fantastic for the more formal events you may have lined up this summer.

You can’t go wrong with a little white dress for summer, and this one is perfect for picnics and garden parties alike. Pair with a chunky sandal and a colourful necklace and you’ll be good to go.
The SKIMS Campaign, April 3rd 2024
SKIMS has collaborated with countless celebrities, from Paris Hilton to Lana Del Rey, and now to Sabrina Carpenter. She channelled nineties nostalgia in the photoshoot debuting the new collection, featuring all things lace and buttery soft.

This ultra short, ultra sexy mini dress has been designed with sheer lace. To make it more modest, you could always add a nude slip underneath.
