Royal fans went wild after spotting the ‘uncanny’ similarities between the Prince and Princess of Wales and their two younger children during the Trooping the Colour.
The royal couple appeared on the Buckingham Palace balcony on Saturday afternoon with Prince George, 10, Princess Charlotte, nine, and Prince Louis, six, as part of King Charles‘ official birthday celebrations.Â
During the RAF flyover, Charlotte and Louis were pictured pulling expressions which perfectly mirrored their parents, who were standing behind them.
At one point, the Princess of Wales leaned slightly to her right to get a better look at an approaching aircraft – at the same point Prince Louis did the same.
Meanwhile, Princess Charlotte was pictured looking pensively in the distance and unknowingly pulling the exact same expression as her father.

As the typhoons approached Buckingham Palace for the grand finale, the Princess of Wales looked dazzled by the spectacle.Â
In front of her, Prince Louis pulled the same impressed face – as Charlotte mimicked her father’s thoughtful stare.
After the celebrations ended, a royal fan on X, formerly known as Twitter, highlighted the similarities between the royals in a viral post.Â
They gushed: ‘This is so funny to me. The twins…’Â
Focusing on Prince Louis, one fan replied: ‘He is her replica.’Â
Another added: ‘Oh my goodness! You can see the likeness and mannerisms in both photos.
‘Charlotte is the double of her dad and Louis is the double of his mum.’
Meanwhile, a third said the similarities between Kate and Louis and William and Charlotte were ‘uncanny’.Â

Speaking to FEMAIL, lip reader Juliet Sullivan says Prince Louis made an adorable comment to the Princess of Wales after three RAF typhoons had passed over the Palace.
When his mother asked if he had ‘liked’ them, the six-year-old turned to face Kate and said: ‘Did you see it go past?!’
Beaming at her youngest child, the Princess of Wales replied: ‘Yes!’
After the flyover ended, the Royals remained on the balcony to hear the national anthem.
As it began, Princess Charlotte discreetly gave Louis some advice – as he appeared to have his hands resting on the balcony.
Turning to her brother, Charlotte said: ‘Louis, put your hands down.’Â
Saturday’s Trooping the Colour was the first time the Princess of Wales had appeared in public following her shock cancer diagnosis earlier this year.
On Friday night, the Princess of Wales released a moving personal statement on her cancer treatment.Â
The royal said: ‘I have been blown away by all the kind messages of support and encouragement over the last couple of months.Â
‘It really has made the world of difference to William and me and has helped us both through some of the harder times.’
It continued: ‘I am making good progress, but as anyone going through chemotherapy will know, there are good days and bad days.Â
‘On those bad days you feel weak, tired and you have to give in to your body resting. But on the good days, when you feel stronger, you want to make the most of feeling well.
The Princess then went on to say she was ‘learning to be patient, especially with uncertainty’.
She signed off the statement with: ‘Thank you so much for your continued understanding, and to all of you who have so bravely shared your stories with me.’Â
