A shop is reopening this weekend. Just Scales has had to shut its Stoke shop following the sudden closure of Just Finns which has been defeated by changing consumer habits following the Covid pandemic and rising energy costs.
It has now snapped up the former All Seasons windows and conservatories showroom, on Morris Square, in Wolstanton. It opens on Saturday, June 15.
Just Scales first opened at Campbell Road Industrial Estate, in Stoke, in 2022. Just Scales stocked snakes, chameleons, tortoises, scorpions, geckos, bearded dragons, preying mantises – and much more.
In a social media message to customers, Just Scales stated: “As many of you will know by now, Just Finns has now closed its doors after eight years. The past few weeks have been a huge rollercoaster for everyone here. Just Finns has been home to Just Scales since its beginnings, but now Just Scales is further expanding to new premises. I’d like to say a thank you to everyone that has supported me in this journey so far, thank you to everyone that has supported Just Finns since its infancy, and hope that this presents so many more opportunities for Just Scales.
“Just Scales is back open again this weekend at its new address. We are really looking forward to seeing you all. So much work has been poured into this shop over the past week by so many people which I’ll always be grateful for. See you all Saturday morning.”
