Jet2 issues ’12 hour’ travel warning to anyone with a flight booked this summer

Must read

Anyone who is heading off on holiday soon with Jet2 has been urged to take note of a very important piece of advice, ahead of what is expected to be a very busy summer for many airports.

Millions of people book trips with Jet2 every year, making it the UK’s third biggest airline. But as we know, things don’t always run smoothly when it comes to stepping on that plane, as there are a number of different factors which can affect travel plans.

This is why the operator has reminded customers that it’s vital to stay on top of any updates and plan accordingly, as recommended by a new alert which was updated on the Jet2 website this morning, June 13.

The message, which was posted on the Jet2 Travel Information page, says: “Please check this section of the website at least 12 hours before your flight for the latest flight information.

“Customers are advised to arrive at their departure airport at least 2 hours before their scheduled departure time.

“In the event of any flight delays further information can be found by using the above search panel by entering your flight number or route. As a reminder check in desks will close 40 minutes before your scheduled departure time.”

Liverpool Echo reports that Jet2 also highlighted that dedicated Operations teams are ‘always working hard behind the scenes’ in the event of any flight disruptions, so that you can get on your way as soon as possible.
