Aldi has confirmed the exact date its £5 school uniform bundle will return to stores. The budget supermarket is adding cargo shorts and a cardigan to its bundle for the first time, the supermarket has confirmed today (Thursday June 13).
Available in a choice of colours and sizes from 4-12 years, the additions mean shoppers will be able to pick up two polo shirts, one sweatshirt or cardigan and a choice of trousers, skirt or cargo shorts, for £5, Aldi – which is rivalled by the likes of Lidl, Sainsbury’s, Tesco, Morrisons, Asda and more – says.
Aldi has also introduced a new 12-month guarantee to its bundle for the first time too. Made using recycled polyesters, 2024 sees the supermarket continue its partnership with Cotton made in Africa (CmiA), resulting in a uniform designed to withstand everything from playground tumbles to classroom play.

Julie Ashfield, Managing Director of Buying at Aldi UK, said in a statement today alongside the release: “With the cost of uniforms an annual, and often costly expense for families with growing children, at Aldi we believe every child should have access to affordable, comfortable and great quality school uniforms.
“And, we want school children to be able to have flexibility when it comes to what they wear in the classroom all day so we’re proud to be expanding the options within our bundle.
“As customers continue to search for great value products that don’t compromise on quality, we’ve made the decision to freeze our school uniform bundle at £5 for the third year running ensuring our customers receive the best savings possible.
“This year, we have also worked to increase our satisfaction guarantee from six months to a year, so parents can rest assured their child’s uniform will withstand the tests of a whole school year.”
