DREW McINTYRE says it’s the weekend of all weekends for Scotland.
With the WWE in town for two major nights at Glasgow‘s OVO Hydro and Scotland kicking off Euro 2024, he might just have a point.

But while he’s warming up for Clash at the Castle on Saturday the WWE superstar has already planned how he’ll get around the CLASH in his viewing schedule.
And he’ll watch the big match with Germany from INSIDE the ring if he has to.
McIntyre is fighting for his company’s world title on Saturday – but he’s also ion action on Friday night, against Irish rival Seamus on the Smackdown event card.
It’s not on TV – what’s known in sports entertainment as a ‘dark match’.

So McIntyre has a plan for keeping tabs on Steve Clarke‘s men.
He’s taking his PHONE with him to ringside.
Speaking live to Tartan Army hero Scott McTominay on Scotland HQ he lined up the Manchester United ace for a bout when he’s hung up his boots.
But also sent a rallying cry to the football fans in Germany and around the country.
He said: “I’m excited to be back in Scotland and the adrenaline is flying being back home.
“This weekend is so big for Scotland. I’m buzzing for everything.
“I do have a match on Friday that’s not televised
“But I’ll have the match on my phone backstage and I’ll be watching it.
“If the game’s still going on – and I’m not joking – I’ll take my phone to the ring because its not televised so I can keep up to date with the game.
“I think we’re going to shock a few folk on Friday.”
McIntyre – who once branded England boss Gareth Southgate an ‘idiot’ – faces Damian Priest on Saturday night at the huge Pay-Per-View event – the first of its’ kind in Scotland.
But beforehand he also cut a WWE-style promo for the Tartan Army where he sent an inspiring rallying cry ahead of the tournament’s big kick-off.
He yelled: “This is it. It’s time everybody, it’s time.
“We’ve got the perfect team, but looking around I’m not feeling that Scottish optimism.

Clash at The Castle will be tinged with sadness however, following the shock death of Scottish superstar Alba Fyre’s mum Bridgeen.
The 31-year-old’s dad Ronnie survived the accident as they crossed the street in Orlando and were both hit by a car.
