WWE and TNA have collaborated recently. The two companies might continue to work together, according to a new report.
TNA Knockouts World Champion Jordynne Grace challenged Roxanne Perez for the NXT Women’s Championship at NXT Battleground. Ash By Elegance also made a surprise appearance at the show. There have been teases of NXT stars coming to TNA and vice versa. As a result, fans continue to buzz about the situation.
Sean Ross Sapp of Fightful (via Fightful Select) reports that, in an interview with Grace, she said she hopes a WWE talent answers her open challenge at TNA Against All Odds. She also said that she expects the collaboration to continue.
Which TNA Stars Could Potentially Cross Over To WWE?
When discussing potential crossover opportunities, Fightful’s Corey Brennan notes that NXT sources spoke highly of Mustafa Ali and Zachary Wentz, who previously worked for WWE.
The report notes that Shawn Michaels was a supporter of Mustafa Ali. He was planned to win a title before WWE released him in September 2023. Sapp confirmed that Ali is not signed to a contract with TNA. There, he currently holds the X-Division Championship.
Furthermore, Sapp cited sources who noted that their stance on Zachary Wentz had softened after his release, and there was a “good chance” he could appear in NXT if the right situation came along.
Additionally, WWE has long been interested in Moose, and Sapp cited sources who noted that Moose has made it clear that he wants to be part of the crossover.
