He has held several senior positions across the automotive sector, including as director in France for Quartix and sales and marketing director for Optimum Automotive.

He said: “I am excited to be part of this fantastic team. Lightfoot has a unique value proposition by engaging with every driver, every day, supporting our clients’ safety, environmental and social corporate goals and giving fleet managers the insight they need to be more efficient, eco-friendly and cost-effective.

“Expanding Lightfoot’s footprint internationally with our strategic partners (insurance and brokers and resellers) will make driving for work safer and more sustainable – two missions close to my heart.”

Matt Wallis has also been appointed as the new commercial lead for Winnie – Lightfoot’s workplace app to gamify and reward business-critical behaviours.

He is a former managing director of Kuantic, the connected vehicle data business which is now part of Stellantis, and was previously European sales director at Opia, as well as EMEA sales director at MiTAC.

“That’s because we know our innovative offering will provide fleet operators with the data and insight to build safer and more efficient vehicle operations – we are a solution that is totally different in the market.

“Our platform integrates seamlessly with existing fleet and telematics systems, while we can also serve as a powerful stand-alone solution, combining in-cab driver coaching technology with an employee focused rewards app to deliver safety improvements and decarbonisation reductions for fleets – something we know is of paramount importance in all blue-chip companies in the European markets.”
