In a frankly ludicrous transfer claim involving Liverpool forward Mohamed Salah, Turkish journalist Zeki Uzundurukan, speaking on the Transfer Plus YouTube channel (h/t Milli Gazete), has suggested that the Egyptian could sign for Galatasaray in the same league that Jose Mourinho is now managing.
“Galatasaray management is looking for a star,” Uzundurukan said, while claiming that Salah’s representatives have met with the Turkish club. “Fenerbahce’s move by Jose Mourinho and Erden Timur’s departure made them a target. Because they went out of the agenda and could not respond to the opponent. For this reason, they want to transfer a name that will make them forget everything.”
While Salah’s contract is so close to expiring (running out next summer), rumors will persist. Only if he signs an extension will things like this stop being written and said.
