According to Italian news outlet Corriere dello Sport, Liverpool have been told how much they would need to offer to sign Atalanta midfielder Ederson. The Reds have been heavily linked with a move for the Brazilian for several weeks with reports in recent days even suggesting an agreement could be close, although these were soon dismissed.
The article claims that Atalanta would demand €50 million (£42.5 million) before considering whether or not to let Ederson leave the club this summer. The Serie A outfit won the Europa League last season, with Ederson playing a key role in their historic triumph.
Arsenal and Newcastle are also credited with an interest in Ederson this summer. It has also been stated that, if Teun Koopmeiners leave Atalanta, then the Italian club would be extra determined to keep hold of Ederson for at least another season.
Elsewhere, Liverpool are reportedly interested in signing PSV Eindhoven star Johan Bakayoko.
According to Fabrizio Romano via Give Me Sport, the Reds have been scouting Bakayoko ahead of a potential summer move. However, the report adds that Liverpool are one of up to seven Premier League clubs monitoring the talented forward.
The report adds that Liverpool are yet to enter advanced negotiations to sign Bakayoko, who is also said to be attracting interest from the Bundesliga. The forward plays on the right wing and has been tipped to be a potential successor to Mohamed Salah should he move to Anfield.
