Celebrity-loved fashion brand Nobody’s Child has just dropped a dreamy selection of new-in styles that are perfect not just for this summer, but every summer. With the likes of Fearne Cotton, Rochelle Humes and Holly Willoughby as customers of the brand, it’s no surprise that this latest edit has already proven popular with shoppers.

The latest edit blends summer capsule wardrobe essentials like waistcoats and white blouses with more dopamine dressing styles and pops of colour, using lots of natural fabrics like cotton and linen to ensure you stay as cool as you look.

As someone whose Instagram feed and wardrobe wishlist look a lot like the latest launch, I’ve taken a look at some of the key pieces I’m adding to my basket immediately ahead of the warmer weather. From to-die-for denim, billowy dresses and tie front detailing, this Nobody’s Child drop has it all, with prices starting from around £30.

So, here are my top picks from Nobody’s Child this month, perfect for seeing you through the summer months, but classic enough to come back time and again:

Pink Striped Elsa Midi Dress

This is giving me all the painted beach hut, ice cream van summer vibes, which is just what you need on a sunny day. Made in a cotton and linen blend, this £85 dress is bound to keep you cool, while the frill-trimmed square neckline adds a feminine playfulness to the overall look. I love a puff sleeve and the statement shirring, which also makes it more accommodating for bustier wearers, while the a-line skirt skims the body. If you love this aesthetic, you’ll also be sure to love the latest FatFace collaboration with Jude’s Ice Cream, which you can find here.

White Linen-blend Bernadetta Blouse

I’m seeing this style of top absolutely everywhere at the moment, from ASOS to The White Company – and for good reason. Bows continue to be a major trend in 2024, but nothing about this blouse feels like it will go out of style anytime soon, either. Also made from organic cotton, blended with a touch of linen, this Nobody’s Child piece comes in a stylish boxy fit with mid-length puff sleeves. The trio of string ties down the centre are too cute, while the neutral hue means it’s perfectly primed to style with anything you already have in your wardrobe – some leopard print jeans, perhaps?

Black Tailored Waistcoat

A so-now take on the timeless waistcoat, this one has been updated with a high v-neckline and a fitted shape. I feel like everyone needs a black waistcoat in their wardrobe, because they really are one of the most versatile pieces you can own. Style with matching trousers and a blazer for a corporate-friendly look, or with a satin skirt for something a little more office siren, while shorts and denim make them more casual for the weekends and holidays. This particular one is £55 and is lightly lined so the fabric falls beautifully. For something a little longer though, River Island is selling a Black Button Up Long Waistcoat for £45.

Dark Blue Denim Puff Sleeve Blouse

The cut of this blouse is giving me all of the Damson Madder vibes, as their shell denim top is in quite a similar style. Nobody’s Child’s take on the trend is in an indigo blue hue, finished with a whipstitch trim and buttons made from coconut, which is more sustainable than plastic. I love that you can wear it as a top, or open over a graphic tee, because there’s nothing better than multifunctional fashion. Buy it for £55 here.

Blue Tiered Smock Rochelle Midi Dress

For a pop of colour in your summer wardrobe, this cobalt blue Rochelle midi is the perfect throw-on-and-go number. Cut to a smock shape, it has a tiered frame and puffed sleeves for an effortlessly stylish look. It’s another style we’ve been spotting a lot recently, with Joanie also stocking a Stella Puff Sleeve Midaxi Dress in blue for £109. Nobody’s Child’s comes in at £59 and is made entirely from organic cotton poplin that’s nice and light. We’re wearing ours with summer sandals.
