A Liverpool ONE store has announced its closure, less than two years after opening.
Tessuti opened its global flagship store on Paradise Street, in Liverpool city centre, in August 2022. It moved into the former New Look store, after New Look downsized and moved into another unit in Liverpool ONE.
Tessuti, which is known for its selection of designer collections and streetwear, first opened a smaller store on Peter’s Lane in 2013, before making the move and opening its largest store to date on Paradise Street in 2022. Now a closing down sale is taking place with up to 70% off products, according to signs in the store window.

Speaking ahead of the opening two years ago, Chris Rowan, director of Brand and Customer Connection at Tessuti said: “[From] the very start of the store design, we wanted to approach it so the store can self-evolve through technology.
“The attention to detail through luxurious fixtures and fittings and a strong modern design aesthetic will keep the store relevant and future proofed.” Chris added: “From the changing rooms to the till areas every detail has been considered to give the Tessuti customers the best shopping experience possible.”
Tessuti brought high-end brands in menswear and womenswear to Liverpool including the likes of Moschino and Versace Jeans Couture. Streetwear brands stocked include Billionaire Boy’s Club, Represent and Maharishi as well as lifestyle favourites Norse Projects, APC and many more brands.
The news of the Liverpool ONE closure comes after Tessuti announced in 2023 it was closing its stores in both Bolton and Bury. The Bolton store closed in August, with the Frasers Group’s designer multi-brand retailer, Flannels moving in.
