A mum has issued a warning after her teenage daughter was approached by an older man near a shopping park in Llandudno. The man in his 30s asked the 16-year-old to come back to his place and left her “petrified”.
Her mum Val Williams said the same person had previously winked and waved at her daughter on the pier but this incident was “totally different”. It happened at around 6pm on Sunday on Mostyn Broadway – behind the Parc Llandudno retail park.
Police are now investigating and are looking to identify the man involved.

Val said: “I just want to warn all other parents of young girls to please make sure they’re safe. This is the second time he’s approached my daughter Tia now, first time was by the pier and he winked and waved at her but the second time was totally different.
“He needs to be found as I wouldn’t want any other young girl to come across him as my daughter was petrified when she came into me.”
She said he initially asked for her “socials” and to speak with her privately as Tia was walking with a friend. She said no but he persisted and went on to ask her to go back to his place, which she declined and headed straight home.
The family have informed the police and given them a description of the man.
North Wales Police said: “We received a call shortly before 10.45pm on Sunday June 2 to report a man acting suspiciously in the Mostyn Broadway area in Llandudno earlier that evening.
