Liverpool starlet Doak hasn’t played for the Reds since December and has withdrawn from the squad ahead of the summer’s tournament.

Dykes misses out on the competition due to picking up a freak injury in Scotland training on Friday.

The Queens Park Rangers forward was stretchered off in training, meaning that he missed the warm up match with Gibraltar.

Dykes has been a key player for Scotland in recent years, playing every game of the Euro 2024 qualifying campaign and scoring nine goals in 36 appearances for his country.

As a result, Conway will be given his first chance to impress in the senior set up.

The Bristol City forward had been part of the under-21s side and even scored in a 2-1 defeat to Turkey on Monday night.

Conway’s international recognition comes having scored ten goals in 39 appearances for the Robins in the Championship.

Scotland get their competition underway on the opening night when they face Germany on Friday June 14, live on talkSPORT.
