Aldi to launch new fitness range with protein powder cheaper than major brand

Must read

Aldi shoppers will soon be able to get their hands on a new protein powder that costs less than a major brand.

Whether you are a regular gym goer, or you’re just looking to get back into shape, protein powders can help you reach your goals. However, many on the market can often be on the fairly pricey side.

Luckily, Aldi is expanding its already popular protein range with a new powder that is said to be cheaper than MyProtein. The Active Max Whey Protein Powder is set to be dropped in the retailer’s popular middle aisle section this Thursday, June 6.

Available in two classic flavours – chocolate and vanilla – this protein powder will pack 18g of protein for every 25g used. You can aid your muscle recovery by adding it into smoothies, shakes and even yoghurt for a protein-packed post-workout boost.

Costing just £12.99 for 500g, the supermarket’s protein powder will work out at just £2.60 per 100g. That makes it significantly cheaper than the popular MyProtein Impact Whey Powder that retails at £41.99 for 1kg and £4.19 per 100g.

The new Whey Protein Powder comes as Aldi is set to drop a brand new fitness range in stores between Thursday June 6 and Sunday June 23. From at dumbbells and yoga mats to massage rollers and walking shoes, there will be something for everyone to meet their fitness goals.

Also included in the new range will be a new Activ Max Pre-workout and Activ Max Creatine (£9.99) to give you a surge of energy before your workout. You can mix this all up with your protein powder before you hit the gym in the new protein shaker for just £2.99.
