Borussia Dortmund manager Edin Terzic has made a bold prediction about Jadon Sancho‘s future.

Sancho, on loan from Manchester United, featured as Dortmund lost 2-0 against Real Madrid in the Champions League final on Saturday night.

It remains to be seen where Sancho will be playing next season, with the 24-year-old’s loan spell set to expire.

However, Terzic has full faith that Sancho will be able to continue making progress.

Despite the defeat, it was still a significant occasion for London-born Sancho to feature in the Champions League final at Wembley, especially given the difficulties that he has previously endured.

Terzic praised Sancho and has now predicted that the winger will play in another Champions League final in the future.

As reported by The Independent, Terzic said: ‘I didn’t speak about the future because we’ve been speaking about the present. I am really happy that he is with us. Playing in a final in his hometown, it’s a very special moment for him.

‘You can feel the joy he receives and brings in the dressing room. I am very happy to work with Jadon. We don’t know yet what the future will bring. But for sure, it’s going to bring him another Champions League final.’

There were high expectations when Sancho signed for United from Dortmund in 2021.

However, Sancho, who has scored 12 goals in 82 games for United, has fallen out of favour at the club.

Sancho clashed with United boss Erik ten Hag, who didn’t include him in the squad for the game away to Arsenal last September due to his performances in training.

Eventually Sancho rejoined Dortmund on loan after he refused to apologise to ten Hag, claiming that he had been made a ‘scapegoat’.

Sancho showed some encouraging signs for Dortmund, especially in helping the German club to reach the Champions League final.
