Must read

All of the Memories of Mars achievements will soon be discontinued as 505 Games has confirmed it is shutting down the Memories of Mars servers in June. 505 has also delisted the Xbox open world game from the Microsoft Store.

Memories of Mars servers to close on June 25, 2024

A post from the 505 Games reads, “We’ve been on an incredible journey since we launched back in early 2020, thanks to you, our incredible community.  However, after four years, we have taken the difficult decision to sunset Memories of Mars, closing down online multiplayer servers on June 25, 2024.

“In addition, Memories of Mars will no longer be available for purchase on all platforms, effective immediately.

“For some of you, this news may not be a huge surprise, but we also understand for those still playing, this won’t be the update you wanted to hear.  We want to take this opportunity to say a huge thank you for your support over the years. It means more than you know!”

Once the server closure strikes on June 25, all achievements in Memories of Mars will be discontinued. Sadly, the open world survival game has already been delisted from the Microsoft Store, and as it was never released physically, only those who purchased Memories of Mars before it was removed from the store will be able to go for the completion.

According to estimates, unlocking all 46 Memories of Mars achievements will take between 120 and 150 hours. However, there is talk of a duplication glitch, which is said can significantly reduce that completion estimate.

In other Xbox server closure news, EA recently announced it was shutting down NBA 18 Live later this year.
