If you’re looking for somewhere to take the kids this half term that doesn’t break the bank, we might just have the place for you. This May half term Totally Jurassic is returning to Walkden Shopping Centre.
With tickets starting from £5.95, with family tickets priced at £20, it’s an affordable experience which will spark little one’s imaginations. To keep things even more budget-friendly, under twos go free.
It features more than 100 static models of all shapes and sizes, immersing children in the Jurassic world. It’s designed to show them the huge range of creatures that once roamed the planet, and teaches them all about the prehistoric animals.

Paired with a soundtrack of growls, little ones can learn about everything from flying raptors to fossils and find out what they ate, how they lived and how they died.
As well as incredible dinosaur models, including the T-Rex, stegosaurus and diplodocus, this year there’s a new section called Totally jungle, where children aged from two to 10 can become mini explorers.
Here they can enter a world of giant plants and see life size models of animals such as zebra and giraffes while parents can happily take photos along the way. Whether your kids are dinosaur-mad or budding zoologists, they’re guaranteed to have a good time.
It should take around 45 minutes to complete Totally Jurassic, with 15 minutes for Totally Jungle, but you can take as long as you like. Places are limited and tickets, which must be pre-booked, cost £5.95 each, with a family ticket for four priced at £20 and under twos go free. The experience is open throughout half term.
