Donald Trump was loudly booed and heckled while delivering a speech at the Libertarian Party’s national convention, where he tried to find common cause with delegates to defeat President Biden.

Trump’s appearance before the crowd in Washington DC on Saturday night was a rare instance of him addressing a hostile audience. His supporters, many wearing MAGA hats, had crammed into the hall and chanted “we want Trump” but were drowned out by the larger number of Libertarians who booed.
