Manchester United’s stars celebrated their FA Cup triumph long into the night, having defied the odds to beat rivals Manchester City 2-1.

Goals from Alejandro Garnacho and Kobbie Mainoo earned United the win and players shared a number of pictures and videos on social media of their post-match celebrations.

After returning to the dressing room, manager Erik ten Hag was soaked in champagne by Lisandro Martinez as the rest of the United players cheered and posed for photos alongside the trophy.

The squad then left Wembley and continued to celebrate at a plush venue in north-west, with Ten Hag and captain Bruno Fernandes taking to a stage to make a speech with the trophy. In a clip from the speech, Scott McTominay can be heard yelling: “Bruuuno.”

To which Ten Hag then responds: “Hey Scott, Bruno asked me if I want to speak. Normally, he speaks only!” McTominay appeared to be at the heart of United’s celebrations, with Harry Maguire sharing a video of the midfielder and Rasmus Hojlund belting out ‘Sweet Caroline’ on the team coach.

Maguire also shared a snap alongside McTominay and Hojlund, with the caption: “Who’s partying?” Hojlund was also filmed dancing to ABBA, with the players joined by their families and a few celebrities.

Player of the match Mainoo celebrated alongside his brother Jordan Mainoo-Hames, known for his appearance on ITV reality show Love Island in 2019, while Garnacho, Hojlund, Andre Onana, Marcus Rashford, Aaron Wan-Bissaka and even Ten Hag posed for pictures alongside YouTuber IShowSpeed.
