Liverpool could be set for a busy summer in the transfer market as they look towards the Arne Slot era.
The Reds were left disappointed at how Jurgen Klopp’s final season at the club ended, but they were still able to provide him with a memorable send-off. Now, attention will turn towards the transfer market as Slot looks to build on Klopp’s success at Anfield.
And reports in French news outlet L’Equipe have claimed that reported Reds target Leny Yoro has said goodbye to employees at Lille’s training ground. It is said that the defender is of interest to Liverpool after a strong campaign in Ligue 1 where his performances have helped Lille finish fourth.

The 18-year-old’s current contract expires in 2025 and it is claimed that he could be available for £40million this summer amid fears he could depart on a free transfer in 2025. Yoro made 44 appearances and scored three goals during the 2023/24 campaign.
Elsewhere, Atalanta club president Antonio Percassi appears to have claimed that Liverpool-linked Teun Koopmeiners could be available this summer. Asked whether he’d take £50m for Koopmeiners, Percassi told La Gazzetta dello Sport: “Only if it was consistent with the strategy required for a provincial club which must always have its accounts in order.
“If you make a deal, it is because you have an equivalent replacement. We are prepared to sell key players for Atalanta if there is a parachute.”
In other transfer news, Dutch outlet Eindhovens Dagblad have claimed that Liverpool, Borussia Dortmund and Bayern Munich are all interested in PSV Eindhoven star Johan Bakayoko. It is said that the Reds may hold an advantage as Dortmund reportedly will not pay PSV’s current asking price of around £43m.
It is also said that Slot has green-lighted a move for Bakayoko who scored 14 goals across all competitions for PSV this season.
