It’s my birthday this weekend and it happens to coincide with the last day of the Chelsea Flower Show (I’m always working on my birthday, but there are many worse places to be), and after all the jazzy horticultural stuff it’s time to turn our attention to some real gardening.
This bank holiday weekend is a fine time to get out there, do a few jobs and think about how the summer ahead might look — particularly if we are lucky with the weather. There are practical jobs to do, but it’s also time to think about how you can enjoy the space.
